Description
As the Manager of Underwriting Engineering in Our client's PME department, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
1. You will oversee the acceptance and pricing of risks within technical insurances, including machinery breakdown, all-risk electronics, and construction site risks.
2. You will craft and execute strategic, technical, and operational underwriting guidelines.
3. Contributing actively to engineering sector product development in partnership with the product management team.
4. Growing and sustaining a profitable portfolio.
5. Enforcing underwriting policies for insurance products based on guidelines and profitability criteria.
6. Expanding market share and enhancing profitability across different sectors.
7. You will support product development endeavors in collaboration with the product management leadership.
8. Directing projects towards meeting strategic and operational goals.
9. Organizing and engaging in internal and external audits.
10. Negotiating with potential clients and brokers.
11. Championing the technical and commercial concerns of clients alongside sales, claims, and prevention departments.
12. Delivering customized services to clients and brokers.
13. You will oversee the management and engagement of clients within the portfolio.

Profile
Ideally, you have:
1. A master's degree or equivalent through experience.
2. Substantial experience as a team leader is essential to ensure effective management, inspire your team, and foster their professional growth.
3. Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.
4. Strong analytical and organizational skills to interpret complex information accurately and translate it into a clear strategy.
