As customer services representative you play an important role within the business unit for order and logistics management planning for customers.
This position is primary responsible for administration of sales order process, sometimes with production planning based on customer’s forecast input.
Concreet betekent dit:
1. You will process the internal system related with quotation control, budget control etc. You enter & acknowledge purchase order for group companies at over sea location. You manage the customer order into the local plant in Gent. You plan appropriate order q’ty towards production sites based on forecast from customers.
2. You will update and maintain delivery / shipment schedule and actively manage deferred shipments from original schedule. You will manage inventory in the external warehouse based on customer’s forecast.
3. You monitor production status and communicate with your colleague Planner to manage shipment schedule, and prepare billing to customer based on the order and/or usage. You control the inbound and outbound flow of goods and ensure that shipment timing of orders is arranged to coincide with the order being completed, that commercial shipping documents needs to be prepare correctly including invoice, AWB from the logistic partner etc…
4. Finally you ensure invoicing is completed correctly and sent through the proper channels to make sure payment is received as per payment terms.
Profiel
5. You have 3-5 years related experience in international B2B industrial environment, preferably in shipping, logistics or expedition within an international framework. You have knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
6. Basic knowledge of export/import for incoterms, international logistic management skills are recommended.
Strong communication skills both orally and written with customer and internal colleagues are important: English and Dutch, any other language is welcome.
7. Experience with PC based communications Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP plus company internally established systems.
