Key Responsibilities:
* Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate (existing and potential future vendors), and select suitable vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance factors;
- Negotiate favourable terms and conditions for contracts, ensuring the best value for the organization;
- Manage vendor relationships (existing and new ones), ensuring timely delivery, adherence to service level agreements, and resolution of any issues.
* Procurement Process
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and processes, aligning them with the organisation's goals;
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and gather information on pricing, product specifications, and delivery terms;
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and other necessary procurement documentation- Monitor the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
* Contract Management
- Review, analyze, and negotiate contracts to protect the organization's interests and mitigate risks;
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, managing any disputes or issues that may arise.
* Cost Management
- Track and analyze procurement costs to identify cost savings and efficiency improvements opportunities;
- Implement cost-saving measures, such as negotiating better pricing, consolidating purchases, and exploring alternative sourcing options.
* Data Management
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including vendor information, contracts, purchase orders, and invoices;
- Prepare reports and analyses on procurement performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Masters degree in Law, Business Administration, SCM or a related field;
* Proven experience in procurement. IT procurement experience is an asset;
* Strong negotiation and communication skills;
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
* Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices within a regulated environment. Financial sector in particular is a real asset;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Languages to master: French, Dutch and English (verbal and written)
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification in procurement;
* Experience with e-procurement systems;
* Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and services.
