National Sales Manager, Joint Replacement (Orthopedics product portfolio) | Belgium & Luxembourg
At Stryker, we are looking for a talented, highly motivated sales leader who will be responsible for driving our Joint Replacement business in Belgium & Luxembourg. Our Joint Replacement portfolio offers market-leading implants for the hip and knee along with innovative Mako Robotics, which enables surgeons to have a more predictable surgical experience and shorter recovery times compared to manual procedures.
As National Sales Manager, you will be part of a high caliber, achievement-driven sales team, dedicated to improving patient care and outcomes through our products. You will be responsible for the strategy and management of your sales area, the leadership of your team, as well as sales/turnover and cost management to ensure optimized customer service and acquisition of new customers.
In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Business Unit Director, Joint Replacement, Northern Europe. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the world’s leading medical technology organizations and make a difference towards our mission of making healthcare better!
What you will do:
* Learn about our portfolio and build relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
* Manage, lead, and motivate a high-performing team (11 direct reports) to accelerate business through the Joint Replacement portfolio.
* Coach and develop your team to achieve their full potential.
* Exceed quarterly and yearly business budgets while managing equipment utilization and revenue pipeline development.
* Accompany important price negotiations and contract conclusions with your team.
* Build a network with key customers, decision-makers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
* Utilize market dynamics to support business acceleration and new business development.
* Provide solutions for customers and KOLs, adding value to the sales process.
* Collaborate with enabling function teams to ensure smooth order to cash processes.
* Work with Sales Managers of other divisions towards common strategies and opportunities.
What you need:
Required:
* 8+ years of sales experience.
* A degree or equivalent.
* Proven leadership skills in managing a sales team.
* Strong negotiation skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
* Demonstrated success in expanding a sales region and delivering exceptional results.
* Sense of responsibility, organizational skills, and commercial acumen.
* Impeccable ethics and integrity in delivering Stryker’s mission.
* Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English and in either Dutch or French.
* A valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel in the region (travel percentage of 50%).
Preferred:
* Sales experience in MedTech, BioTech, healthcare, or related industries.
* Educational background in business administration, economics, medical technology, healthcare, or relevant areas.
* Orthopedics/anatomy knowledge is an advantage.
