Mission
As the Human Capital Strategic & Business Partners Lead, your mission is to act as the vital bridge between our business units and human resources organisation. You will enable sustainable high organizational performance, driving Proximus’ business growth by being a change agent and fostering the right cultural and organizational mindset.
In collaboration with HR colleagues and division leads, you will develop and implement a strategic HR vision that delivers the best HR solutions for the short, medium, and long term. You will lead long-term strategic HR plans for business units, grounded in a deep understanding of their vision and strategy.
Your role involves building strategic relationships, identifying, and prioritizing HR needs (such as sourcing, skills, competencies, and organizational structures), and ensuring their implementation. Representing the voice of the business within HR, you will ensure the effective use of HR programs and tools to bring added value to the business.
Responsibilities
1. You understand the business vision and strategy, build strategic relationships, and act as the bridge between HR and business units. It’s your role to foster trustful relationships and lead initiatives with impact to enhance organizational effectiveness, performance, and collaboration. Promoting employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and workforce productivity is part of your DNA.
2. You ensure the Total Workforce Management program is the compass for people strategies and action, bringing the right talent for the right solutions in a short-, mid- and long-term perspective. Together with the business, you build leadership capability and address current and future skills needs by strategic workforce planning.
3. You are the first advisor on people and organizational challenges for senior leaders in the BU, you provide coaching and support, assist in senior level hiring and promotion decisions, and ensure team effectiveness interventions.
4. You translate strategic HR business needs into the HR strategy and core projects. You are accountable for the implementation of the HR strategy and programs within the business, providing input for the transformational HR roadmap.
5. You drive and motivate your team of HR Strategic Advisors, HR Business Partners and HR Learning Partners.
6. You ensure necessary actions for effective union dialogue, including preparing and negotiating union files with the business.
Your Profile
Experience: acquired 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position.

2. Data insights & Analytical skills: ensure facts-based decision and broad integration of multiple data to guide the business to achieve its objectives.
3. Deep Knowledge of the HR Domain: Possess comprehensive expertise in different fields of human resources, including implementation of best practices and up-to-date understanding of industry standards.
4. Business Acumen: Understand and apply business knowledge to drive the organization forward. Able to position the organizational challenges beyond the current time horizons and organizational capabilities.
5. Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manage relationships with impact without formal authority but based on collaboration, professionalism, trustworthiness and personal commitment.
6. Leadership: Inspire and guide others towards long-term goals and future opportunities. Be a role model when it comes to our culture, values and leadership framework.
7. Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. English, French and Dutch are key to operate in our international environment.
8. Emerging Trends Adaptability: Stay informed about emerging trends and adapts strategies accordingly. Be curious and open minded to explore new ways of working as well as be self-reflective to learn and adapt.
9. Change Oriented: Embrace and drive change, fostering innovation and adaptability.
