As a Network Security Engineer you will:
* Handle service requests and provide 2nd level incident response, escalating when needed.
* Contribute to problem management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
* Support network lifecycle management and ensure compliance with best practices.
* Assist in the design, implementation, and configuration of network solutions.
* Manage network documentation and configuration changes.
* Design and implement network management tools, conduct testing, and evaluate solutions.
* Migrate new systems into production and automate operational tasks.
* Develop and configure custom tools (e.g., dashboards, databases, scripts).
* Define and implement operational metrics to monitor and enhance network performance.
What would make you a fit for the role:
* Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Networks, or Telecommunications.
* 8+ years' experience in large-scale network operations and enterprise configuration management.
* Strong knowledge of incident management, troubleshooting, and service improvements.
* Proficiency in network monitoring tools and routing/switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPNs, MPLS).
* Familiarity with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Check Point, FortiGate) and security best practices.
* Experience with multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
* Knowledge of automation & scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform is a plus).
* Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, NSE4) (preferred but not mandatory)
* Fluent English (C Level).
It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:
* Hands-on experience with network automation and monitoring tools.
* Strong understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, hybrid-cloud).
* Knowledge of container networking (Kubernetes, Docker).
* Experience with network telemetry and SDN/virtualization (NSX, Cisco ACI).
