DENV is the sales, R&D, and production headquarters of Daikin for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The headquarters has Belgian locations in Brussels, Ghent, and Ostend, as well as 8 production sites, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices, and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.
As a strategic HR Business Partner, you will closely interact with all production-related departments at the site in Oostende. Together with your colleagues, you will support the manufacturing division on several pillars: manpower planning and stability, talent management, retention and well-being, leadership development, and culture & organization.
1. You are responsible for internal mobility. You monitor internal vacancies and adjust policies as needed, in consultation with the business and union partners.
2. As a sparring partner, you coach, motivate, and stimulate managers in their roles by providing them with appropriate tools and advice.
3. From analysis and reporting, you implement targeted actions to optimize onboarding, retention, and well-being.
4. You are closely involved in the evaluation process and handle individual cases of employees together with the involved managers and union partners.
5. Along with the in-house interim partners, you ensure the timely influx of temporary staff according to Production's demand.
6. You actively contribute to the follow-up and improvement of the compensation classification.
7. You take a leading role in digitalization and data-driven projects within the HR Business Partner team.
Profile
1. You hold a Master's degree and are passionate about HR projects within a technological and innovative production environment.
2. You have a digital mindset and are adept at working with virtual applications.
3. You enjoy drafting reports, analyzing numbers, and drawing the right conclusions. Analytical skills and solution-oriented thinking are among your core qualities.
4. You perform best when you can work proactively and results-oriented in an autonomous manner. To successfully complete projects, you have a flexible attitude and hands-on approach.
5. You excel in diplomatic, open, and to-the-point communication and are a committed relationship builder.
6. You are willing to work from the headquarters in Oostende.
