TMS Solution Architect (Functional)
Traffic Management Systems TMS Transport & Logistics: Supply Chain, Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central Kortrijk, Flemish/Dutch preferred (not a must). 3 days in office-must!
Start: ASAP/ February
Duration: 12 months – extension possible
Location: Ghent area
3 days onsite and 2 days remote
What we need:
1. You have more than five years’ experience, working in a Supply Chain Manager role in a company or in a Transport & Logistics company, and/or more than five years’ experience in IT for a Logistics company.
2. You have a bachelor’s degree in Transport & Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent through experience.
3. You have worked with TMS- (and WMS) systems.
4. You have implemented TMS- (and WMS) systems.
5. You are analytical, solution-oriented, quality-oriented, proactive, and customer-minded.
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central.
7. Experience with DEVOPS.
The Job:
To develop the business and further support and accelerate growth, we are looking for a Functional Solution Architect for our TMS product suite. You will drive and make a difference with our product team at our logistics customers.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. As a Functional Solution Architect TMS, you will add new functionalities to the client TMS product suite as a coordinator with the development team.
2. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technological solutions, optimizing client investments in Supply Chain Operations and Logistics Systems.
3. Collaborate closely with business and IT leaders to align technology initiatives with strategic goals.
4. Influence changes in business models and processes through insightful technology perspectives and analytical approaches to decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a clear view and vision of where the transport market is heading and understand the demands in the sector.
2. Update knowledge about the transport market frequently.
3. Monitor transportation and logistics government laws to ensure compliance with safe, sustainable, and maintainable solutions.
4. Gather all TMS requirements via all stakeholders and prioritize based on business value/budget.
5. Provide qualitative input for the roadmap for the TMS product suite.
6. Translate the demands of different customers into a generic solution in the end-to-end TMS solution.
7. Translate business and technical requirements into actionable architectural blueprints.
8. Assess organizational and financial impacts of proposed architectural solutions.
9. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring solutions are scalable and meet client needs.
10. Build effective relationships with the Product Team, project managers, and IT leaders.
11. Review new or existing TMS product suite and provide feedback about optimizations.
12. Present the TMS product strategy and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.
