As a(n) Account Manager for Boston Scientific, you will be able to:
1. Develop the region by achieving or exceeding sales targets on an ongoing basis
2. Demonstrate ability to adhere to the divisional selling process to ensure maximum client interface.
3. Develop in depth knowledge of core products and periphery items.
4. Analyze and interpret regional selling patterns in terms of product utilization and competitor activity.
5. Differentiate product capabilities with competitor products and anticipates competitor sales tactics
6. Maintain awareness of industry trends and their impact on the region.
7. Effectively implement and maintain customer records, account profiles and territory plans
8. Integrate the buying and utilization patters of the customer into selling strategy.
9. Build effective relationships with the customer and secure quality time with decision makers
10. Identify and recommend promotion opportunities within the region
11. Conduct product evaluations that lead to customer conversions
12. Reach ‘win/win’ agreements with customers and help to define negotiation parameters for tough economically constrained customer situations.
13. Target and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the region
14. Align key clinical and economic buying influences within the account
15. Assist customers to develop educational courses and forums (product related).
YOUR SKILLS PROFILE
16. You have successfully completed a degree in biomedical engineering or a comparable course of study or have completed commercial or clinical training
17. You have at least 3-5 years of professional experience in the sale of consulting-intensive products, ideally in medical technology
18. Languages: Mandatory Dutch & English/ Good understanding of French
19. You are characterized by an open, positive personality who enjoys selling high-quality, clinical products
20. You have already been able to demonstrate a strong sales orientation with great flexibility as well as a clear, sales-oriented, success-oriented negotiation and closing strength
21. You are characterized by contact strength and reliability
22. Self-motivation and entrepreneurial thinking are a matter of course for you
23. You have good MS Office user skills as well as good written and spoken English skills
24. You are a resident of the sales area
