Avantor is currently on the lookout for a motivated Business Project Manager to join the team in Geel. In this position you will analyze existing processes, identify the gaps in collaboration with your stakeholders and set up new procedures to eliminate those gaps. This is a full-time, day job in which you will work in Geel 50% of the time and Genk the other 50%. You will receive a temporary contract for 6 months. The team
Together with your colleagues, you are part of an open and supportive team, helping each other wherever possible. This team belongs to our department Lab and Production Services, which supports leading pharmaceutical companies and laboratories all over the world, in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.
What we’re looking for
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management or similar
Experience:
1. Proven experience in Project Management is a must
2. in a similar industry such as pharma production or Life Sciences is a plus
Preferred qualifications:
3. Strong skills in MS Office and good with Visio and SAP
4. Effective communication skills in English and Dutch; French is a plus
5. Assertive and not afraid of speaking up
6. Detail oriented, able to keep a clear overview when working on multiple projects at the same time
7. Customer centric, independent, diplomatic
How you will thrive and create an impact
8. Analyze existing processes at the site to map the current situation
9. Discuss with stakeholder to identify current gaps and how to eliminate them
10. Develop and maintain new SOP’s, work instructions, process flows, KPI’s etc. based on conclusions from meeting with stakeholders
11. Request resources internally to succeed with projects
12. Create and maintain the project schedules and set up project teams
13. Keep track of progress by using the appropriate tools
14. Present a project to stakeholders, including clear objectives, scope and technical feasibility
15. Serve as a liaison among customers, Avantor services, and Avantor sales
16. Supervise inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes
