We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Sales team at Sony. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering business results in line with the account strategy, focusing on the sales and promotion of Sony products to allocated existing and new centrally buying clients. You will be instrumental in optimizing relationship management and driving growth within a multi-channel retail environment. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Profit Targets: Achieve set sales and profit targets while considering standards and values. Increase Sony's In House Share among allocated customers.
2. Customer Visits & Relationship Management throughout the Belgian region: Plan and conduct customer visits based on key opportunities, ensuring a proactive and customer-centric approach. Manage & maintain relationship between customer and Sony.
3. Account Management: Effectively manage accounts in a multi-channel retail environment. Maintain and extend the customer portfolio through the development of strong relationships.
4. Admin management – manage customer payments, payment & sell-out databases and time&calendar management.
5. Promotional and Communication Planning: Ensure a comprehensive promotional and communication plan is in place for each promotional or launch period. Regularly review and update the plan to maximize all customer retail touchpoints.
6. Forecasting and Reporting: Create sales and sell-out planning, maintain these business plans for assigned accounts and regularly present detailed plans to key internal stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
7. Commercial, hands-on, customer driven mindset, allowing smooth achievement of business targets, and promptly resolving customer issues.
8. Analytically capable in order to identify key opportunities based on raw data and translating them into actionable insights. Able to handle MS Office (especially Powerpoint & Excel).
9. Higher educated mindset.
10. Fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
11. Excellent communication, relationship and negotiation skills.
12. Open mindset towards change, embracing and initiating continuous improvement.
