Agfa HealthCare is looking for a talented Clinical Deployment Specialist to join our IT project delivery team. The Clinical Specialist is a high-level informatics individual who delivers workflow analysis and configuration of PACS, RIS, Cardiology and Speech Recognition with interactions in 3rd party applications. Along with this, the Clinical Specialist delivers clinical training and project go-live support.
This position is:
Home office based with customers throughout the UK, Ireland, Benelux and the Nordics
Travel throughout the whole region is required
Based on your location you could be travelling, or on site for approximately 30-40% of time
Minimal weekend work
During the initial training period extra travel may be necessary
Job Duties & Accountabilities:
Responsibilities:
1. Work in a team to deliver a project
2. Work at the customer site to conduct workflow analysis
3. Configuration of applications on and off-site
4. Deliver training to the PACS / RIS administrators, Radiographers, Clinicians, Radiologists, Cardiologists, other end users and support personnel both on and off-site
5. Complete all documentation

6. Registered Diagnostic Radiographer is required
Experience :
General
7. Experience as a PACS / RIS Administrator would be beneficial
8. Minimum three years of training experience
9. Agfa experience is a plus
10. Technical aptitude mixed with a solid clinical hospital background
11. Ability to self-direct
Skills:
12. Broad expertise in PACS / RIS Radiology or Cardiology workflow
13. Excellent knowledge of workflow within a radiology/cardiology environment
14. Awareness on DICOM and HL7 standards and interactions
15. Strong ability to develop and deliver end-user training in a classroom, on site and virtual web-based training methodologies
16. Excellent planning skills and self-discipline to work with limited supervision
17. Strong team working and communication skills
18. Excellent training and presentation abilities
