Job Purpose
The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing purchasing activities, negotiating contracts, building supplier relationships, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective supplies, while maintaining accurate records and overseeing budget estimates and invoice approvals.
Your responsibilities
* Negotiate pricing and supply contracts;
* Create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers;
* Work with a global team member to complete duties as needed;
* Estimate and establish budgets for purchases;
* Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment;
* Review all vendors and suppliers;
* Maintain purchase records and other important data;
* Develop plans for purchasing services, and supplies;
* Approve the invoices.
Your profile
* A Degree in Purchasing and Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, Business Studies, Supply Chain Management or any relevant field
* 2-3 years experience as Procurement Officer for a Ground Handling Agreement;
* Language: Fluent in French and English required;
* Knowledge of the freight and airline industries;
* Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills in a multicultural setting;
* Strong contract negotiation skills;
* Goal-driven, organized, multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities;
* Meticulous attention to detail.
