We are seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist (Level 2) to resolve complex IT issues and support the deployment of advanced technologies.
Key responsibilities
Provide advanced second-level IT technical support for escalated IT-related tickets
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and restore failed IT services swiftly
Configure and test new software packages, device drivers, and IT equipment (e.g., desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, smartphones, tablets, videoconferencing devices, IP phones, etc.)
Ensure compatibility of new Hardware/software with the existing IT environment using Microsoft EndPoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
Develop and maintain technical documentation (test procedures, installation guides) and user tutorials in English and French
Participate in software evaluations, including benchmarking and market analysis
Maintain and develop PC standard configuration disk images
Technical expertise and requirements
5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform
Advanced knowledge of SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) with expertise in:
User and computer management
Application and package integration and deployment
Deployment monitoring
OS and driver integration, including task sequences for OS deployment
SCCM Client management
Proficiency in scripting: Advanced PowerShell and Shell (DOS) scripting skills
Strong understanding of Windows Installer (MSI) processes
Expertise in ITIL best practices
Knowledge of Microsoft PXE server and Microsoft EndPoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
Experience in functional IT systems use and IT architecture with a strong grasp of core technologies
Preferred skills and qualifications
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution
Effective communication skills in both French (native) and English
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
