The PMC Project Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, risk management, and effective communication with stakeholders. This is a senior position within Linesight and the initial project will lead one of Europe’s largest greenfield Data Centres for a blue-chip client in Europe.
The Opportunity:
Key Responsibilities:
* Champion high performance safety culture for the project.
* Lead successful end to end project delivery for large greenfield campus ensuring project is safely delivered on schedule, on budget and meeting all quality objectives.
* Coordination of a development project for a data centre campus, starting from due diligence and master planning to implementation, handover, certification and acceptance.
* Creation of project delivery plans that are aligned with the customer's requirements and include communication plans and take into account important events.
* Ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage of the project and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to resolve issues as needed.
* Purposeful commitment to improving our project management capabilities through standardization and automation in the area of Linesight projects for data centres.
* Coaching, mentoring and training the entire team on continuous improvement techniques and standard procedures for reporting results.
* Responsibility for sound project management and ensuring that risks are continuously reviewed and, if necessary, risk mitigation measures are implemented.
* Support in the preparation of the documentation for the request for quotation and service description for the most important project participants.
* Promote the development and governance of the reporting required at the program level on project status in terms of scheduling, budgeting, safety and project risks.
* Ensuring consistent implementation of the company's standards for project and program delivery by all project stakeholders within the scope of all projects.
* Support in the context of the submission of offers for new service requests, participation in and management of convincing presentations for potential new customers.
* Assistance in recruitment in order to fulfill orders and expand the business in accordance with the regional plan.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
* Maintain strong relationships and provide regular updates on project progress.
* Ensure client satisfaction at every stage of the project, ensuring that key actions are taken to resolve issues as required.
* Ensure that construction work meets quality standards and project specifications.
* Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
* Be accountable for robust project governance and ensure that risks are reviewed on an ongoing basis and mitigating measures implemented where required.
* Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
* Prepare detailed project reports and documentation for senior management and stakeholders.
* Ensure accurate records of project activities, changes, and approvals.

* Have experience in data centre construction/project management with increasing levels of leadership and people management.
* Have a degree or comparable experience in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or another construction related discipline.
* Are PMP and LEED AP qualified or on the path to completing it.
