Sales Representative – Medical Technology

The Job’s Mission:

As a Sales Representative, you will help deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling a leading Joint Replacement product portfolio in the regions of Aalst and West Flanders.
Our Joint Replacement division offers market-leading implants for the hip and knee, improving patient and hospital outcomes with procedural excellence. You will also support the sales cycle of our innovative robotics system, enabling surgeons to achieve more predictable surgical experiences and shorter recovery times for patients compared to manual procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training & Relationship Building: Begin with comprehensive product training to learn about the portfolio and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Customer Engagement: Identify, analyze, and prospect new customers while providing ongoing service to existing ones.
3. Sales Strategy & Negotiation: Plan and implement sales strategies, and conduct negotiations with surgeons, hospital administration, and purchasing departments.
4. Product Demonstrations & Clinical Support: Advise and train medical professionals during product demonstrations and provide clinical support in the operating room as needed.
5. Event Participation: Attend congresses, seminars, and business meetings to identify potential new customers and expand your knowledge for customer contact.
6. Order Management: Prepare orders for interested customers and ensure reliable follow-up.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with team members in Belgium and the Sales Manager to ensure top-notch customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
8. Experience: Demonstrable sales experience in industries such as MedTech, Pharmaceuticals, BioTech, healthcare, or related fields.
9. Commercial Orientation: Strong commercial orientation with a growth mindset.
10. Educational Background: Diploma/degree in business administration, physiotherapy, nursing, sciences, healthcare, or other relevant areas.
11. Communication Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written Dutch and English.
12. Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license for regular customer visits.
13. Competencies: Enthusiasm for medical technology, resilience, passion for selling complex products, excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, and empathy to understand customer needs.
