Dana is looking for a Vehicle Calibration Engineer
Job Purpose
The application controls team develops, verifies, and maintains application specific data for control units. The goal is to become responsible for one of the transmission controller families.
You will capture and review requirements from internal parties and our worldwide customer base, improving shift quality and driveline behavior through analysis of measurements. Verification and configuration of the application software are primarily conducted from the Bruges office and test facilities, with occasional field visits required, as the Off-Highway vehicles need a specific environment to operate in a representative manner.
Profile
* Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electronics Engineering.
* Good oral and writing skills in English and Dutch.
* Experience in any of these domains is an asset: Control logic of transmissions, powertrains or drive systems; Electronic, hydraulic and embedded system controls; Measuring systems and application software (Canapé, Canalyzer, Dewesoft, ...); Functional safety.
* Problem solving, taking initiative, and being able to plan and organize one's own work.
* Being customer-oriented.
* Being able and willing to travel (<15%).
