Your team and your responsibilities
Team description
The Circular Economy Business Unit's objective is:
1. Minimise use of virgin raw materials in new vehicles by maximising recycled content in the design phase.
2. Ensure zero waste in manufacturing.
3. Maximise End of Life Vehicle (ELV) recycling by reintegrating this recycled material back into the Toyota supply chain.
Your responsibilities
* Evaluating existing ATF (Authorised Treatment Facility) digital solutions for end-to-end ELV (End-of-Life Vehicle) processes in the UK.
* Researching ELV traceability methods and proposing a traceability model for TME (Toyota Motor Europe).
* Designing IT systems to support Circular Economy (CE) operations, including buying ELVs, dismantling, managing remanufactured parts, material management, and used parts.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to create an action plan, define KPIs, and lead the implementation of these digital solutions.
* Developing a business case and implementation plan in partnership with the relevant stakeholders.
Your Profile
* You are fluent in English (TME’s business language).
* University degree (Computer Sciences/Engineering/Project Management).
* Experience in the Automotive industry with a focus on developing/managing digital solutions (nice to have).
* Knowledgeable and passionate about sustainability, Circular Economy, and engineering material waste management is a plus.
* Functional knowledge in IT&D is a plus.
* Strong communication skills to various levels.
* Strong analytical skills focused on process analysis.
* Interest in understanding the relevant processes & activities of other functions linked with CE.
