Key Responsibilities of the Senior Logistics Manager - RETAIL
* Define and implement logistics strategies, align processes with business needs, and ensure efficient inventory and storage management.
* Develop and manage logistics budgets and general expenses, and optimise delivery zones and transportation costs.
* Supervise logistics staff, promote adherence to internal policies, and coordinate with teams in sales, procurement, and supply chain.
* Implement governance policies, supervise risk analysis, and ensure workplace safety and compliance.
* Produce monthly reports, validate logistics invoices, negotiate transport prices, and manage logistics-related disputes.
Ideal Candidate Profile for the Senior Logistics Manager - RETAIL position
* Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalence in experience with proven track record.
* 10+ years in retail logistics or similar field, with team management experience.
* Experience in implementation of cross-dock
* Fluent in French/English and good level of Dutch
* Strong proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
* strong project and budget management skills.
* Detail-oriented, problem solver, client-focused, adaptable, with excellent negotiation and team management skills.
