Senior Project Manager - Early Phase eSource
IQVIA’s Early Phase eSource team provides a best-in-class SaaS (‘Software as a Service’), eSource & Volunteer Management solution (‘ClinSpark’) for customers’ Phase1 clinics/Early Phase sites, making the patient experience easier and assisting our customers in running their phase 1 trials more efficiently – whilst prioritizing patient safety and improving data integrity/accuracy.
We are continuing to expand across the whole of the delivery services group and are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to add to the growing team. As part of the Early Phase team, you will work in a challenging but supportive environment with colleagues situated across the globe. You will be responsible for facilitating the engagements for, and managing the implementations of, the eSource solution; from initiation to close-out. You will be the primary point of contact for the customer and a gatekeeper to the wider, project delivery team.

There may be some travel required for this position to support customer onboarding, but this is not expected to be frequent or extended.
About the role:
1. Serve as the primary contact for your assigned customers; planning, initiating, executing, controlling and delivering projects in accordance with agreed upon scope of work
2. Keep stakeholders informed of scope/requirements/statuses to ensure adequate resourcing throughout the project life cycle and identifying and evaluating project risks throughout the duration of the project
3. Coordinate and report on project progress, escalating where necessary to keep leadership within the business unit informed of any issues that may impact quality and/or timeliness of project delivery to the customer’s satisfaction
4. Ensure all deliverables for a given sponsor are to the expected quality standards and any third-party, IQVIA-responsible sub-contractors involved in the project are managed effectively
5. Manage the project financials ensuring project goals are achieved to customer's expectations and within the scope of the project
6. Ensure revenue recognition and forecasts are calculated accurately and Change Orders executed where appropriate.
7. Provide input to line managers of project team members’ performance relative to project tasks to aid career development.
About you:
8. Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Engineering or healthcare related discipline – or equivalent industry experience
9. 5+ years Project Management experience
10. Previous experience integrating and adopting software solutions, particularly eSource or EDC systems
11. Early Phase trial experience preferred, particularly if gained working in a busy CRO or Pharma Phase I unit
12. Ability to work in a fully remote environment including ability to independently prioritize, schedule and organize
13. Data management experience a plus
