Our client, a leading European group specializing in building protection, is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting and tax activities of its eight entities in the Benelux region. Operating in nine countries, this family-owned company has grown significantly, generating €105 million in revenue and employing over 1,000 people across Europe. Location : Nivelles Your Role As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the accounting operations of eight agencies, including two in the Netherlands and one in Luxembourg. You will supervise the accounting team and play a key role in managing and optimizing financial processes. Your Main Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting and tax operations for the Benelux entities (VAT, corporate tax). Supervise financial closing procedures according to BE GAAP standards and ensure administrative compliance. Manage and mentor a team consisting of a junior accountant and two accounting assistants. Prepare and analyze financial reports for the CFO and Financial Controller. Ensure intercompany account reconciliation and handle administrative tasks. Participate in improving and optimizing tools and processes (electronic invoicing and reporting). You will play a crucial role in the digital transformation and optimization of the group's accounting operations. Your Profile At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an accounting firm. Bachelor's degree in accounting (from a business school, not a university). Fluent in French + English or Dutch (frequent communication with Dutch-speaking agencies). Strong tax expertise (corporate tax calculations, dividend distribution, withholding tax). Autonomous, detail-oriented, and proactive - you will be the CFO's key accounting reference. Comfortable with financial closing and tax calculations on high-volume accounts (up to €40M in revenue per entity). Strong knowledge of accounting and financial tools (Winbooks, Excel).
