Responsibilities
1. Review, approve, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation.
2. Lead the overall quality strategy for the Project Delivery Team.
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) to support all project phases.
4. Closely monitor the EPCM contractors adherence to quality processes and standards.
5. Conduct thorough audits to ensure compliance, and manage project documentation across various project stages.
6. Actively collaborate with local regulatory authorities to meet all quality and safety requirements.
7. Lead, coach, and mentor the Quality Assurance (QA) team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
2. Significant experience in Quality Assurance (QA) management within the construction industry, ideally on large scale projects.
3. In depth knowledge of Belgian construction laws and relevant EU regulations.
4. Proven experience in managing EPCM contractors to ensure compliance and project success.
5. Excellent communication skills in English.
6. Dutch and/or French will be considered a plus.
7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a team.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
9. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and external regulatory bodies.
