About the Job:
As a Deputy Quality Assurance Manager, you will support quality assurance activities for a client in the railway signaling industry. Based in Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid, 2-3 days in the office), you will ensure compliance with industry standards, conduct audits, and manage quality processes. Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the Quality Assurance Manager in program quality assurance.
* Review technical deliverables and produce quality documentation.
* Organize gate reviews and conduct internal audits.
* Analyze and resolve non-conformities, ensuring corrective actions.
* Facilitate external certification audits and supplier quality management.
* Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
Profile:
* 10+ years in project quality management within the rail industry.
* Engineering degree or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of ISO9001, CENELEC EN50126, EN50129, EN50128, EN50155.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, SharePoint) and GitLab.
* Reliable, structured, and strong communicator.
Languages:
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
* French proficiency is a plus.
* Dutch or another European language is an advantage.
