Job Description
This position requires an individual who can manage tariff and regulatory documents, develop financial and economic models, and evaluate prices. The Regulatory Advisor must be able to identify regulatory changes and represent Fluxys in dealings with regulators and stakeholders. A master's degree in economics, finance, econometrics, or civil engineering is preferred, along with a strong facility with numbers, passion for the energy sector, and at least two years of experience in financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
* Tariff and Regulatory Document Management
o Ensure compliance with the Belgian and European regulatory framework.
o Manage tariff and regulatory documents, including design, drafting, coordination, and monitoring.
o Defend regulatory documents and secure approval by the relevant regulator(s).
* Tariff Model Development
o Develop financial and economic models to calculate service prices.
o Incorporate operating, infrastructure, and regulatory costs into the models.
* Price Optimisation
o Evaluate prices to ensure they are competitive while complying with legal constraints.
o Balance profitability and compliance with the obligations imposed by regulators.
* Regulatory Monitoring
o Identify regulatory changes that could impact Fluxys.
* Stakeholder Management
o Represent Fluxys in dealings with regulators and stakeholders, supporting analyses and positions with confidence and expertise.
