Customer Service Representative (Metal Fabrication Industry)

They manufacture quality fencing systems to secure people, property and businesses around the world.
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our Benelux customers. This role involves managing all aspects of customer interactions, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Customer Interaction: Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing timely and accurate information regarding products, services, and orders.
2. Order Management: Process customer orders, monitor order status, and ensure timely delivery. Address any issues related to shipping, delivery, and product availability.
3. Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Escalate complex cases to the appropriate departments when necessary.
4. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and product information to customers, helping them choose the right products and solutions for their needs.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with sales, logistics, and production teams to coordinate customer needs and improve service delivery.
6. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on customer interactions, feedback, and issue resolution. Identify trends and suggest improvements to enhance customer support processes.
7. Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with product knowledge and customer service best practices.
Profile :
8. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer support role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
9. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
10. Languages: Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
11. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
12. Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions.
13. Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
