Job description
Spectricity started end of 2018 as a spin-off of imec, a leading R&D center in nanoelectronics and digital technologies in Belgium. Spectricity develops and manufactures spectral sensing solutions using CMOS technologies. These solutions are designed for high-volume production and use in consumer and mobile devices.
Within the dynamic, multidisciplinary and fast-growing team of technologists, engineers and application experts, we are looking for an enthusiastic Test Operator. This is a temporary and part time role for April 2025 with the possibility of being extended throughout the summer months.
Your main responsibilities will be to
Testing and calibrating optical camera modules and evaluation kits. This includes:
* operating test setups
* placing samples / modules in test setups
* starting tests and following up on execution / completion
* sanity check on the generated results
* keeping track of the status of the ongoing measurements
Your profile:
* Master degree Industrial sciences: electromechanics or Electronica-ICT or equal by experience
* No prior knowledge is required, knowledge of Linux and python is considered a plus.
* The role is open to a student worker or temp
