Your Role
Job Summary
1. The Project Manager will be expected to actively drive all projects and programs under his/her responsibility and deliver expected business benefits within the approved timeline, budget, and scope.
Roles & Responsibilities
2. Partner with stakeholders to understand the project's objectives and ensure requirements are adequately documented.
3. Take ownership and actively manage the project throughout its entire lifecycle following standard project management processes and methodologies.
4. Engage all different Group IT areas involved (regionally and globally) to ensure the best solution is put forward and appropriate resources are assigned.
5. Communicate the status of the projects to key stakeholders regularly and with total transparency. Make sure risks are proactively identified, documented, and mitigated throughout the project's life.
6. Promote good project management practices in the Atlas Copco Group not just by “leading by example” but by playing consulting or trainer roles to any organization that might require support with their projects or project management processes.
7. Contribute, in cooperation with other Project Managers, to the continuous improvement of standard project management processes and tools.
8. Partner with other service teams and third-party vendors, sometimes in close cooperation with Strategic Sourcing.

Experience Requirements
9. Extended experience in successfully managing technical IT projects.
10. You have proven track record of cultural awareness while collaborating with your peers in the other regions.
11. Experience in effectively managing, motivating, and empowering people
12. Strong business acumen and internal knowledge of policies.
13. Comfortable with working in a highly matrix global environment
14. Ability to implement standards and operating metrics.
Technical Skills
15. A broad knowledge of the different technologies used within Atlas Copco and available in the industry to give an excellent overall understanding of IT.
16. Working knowledge of value and use of Standard IT processes and methodologies (i.e., ITIL, PMI, and SDLC).
Educational Requirements
17. University degree or equivalent experience
18. Certified Project Manager a plus
19. Certification within ITIL (Foundation) is a benefit
