Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.Senior Process EngineerRole Context:For our Antwerp / Ghent office we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer!As a Senior Process Engineer you will fulfill a crucial role in projects in the (petro)chemical & refinery industry. You will act as an interface with the other engineering disciplines.You'll be:Participating in the design of a process unit chemical, petrochemical & pilots.Providing guidance to less experienced process engineers.Developing, reviewing, and approving process flow diagrams and heat and material balances to define project scope.Reviewing and approving datasheets for process equipment.Preparing specifications and operating parameters for process, piping and instrumentation equipment.Calculating and organizing data for PFD's and P&ID's.Co-developing process control narratives and cause & effect diagrams.Performing hydraulic calculations for fluid and vapor circuits.Preparing sizing calculations for pressure relieving designs.Participating in planning, cost estimating and scheduling for projects.Maintaining effective communication with project team members and client.Developing, reviewing and approving simulation models for a process unit.Leading a project, implying responsibility over planning, manpower and quality.You'll have:Industry-specific experience: Knowledge of engineering work process in the chemical, petrochemical industry. Knowledge of bio-chemical process is a surplus. Experience in various project phases of large projects, mainly conceptual and feed phases.Education: Master's degree in engineering or industrial engineering discipline chemistry.People skills: Motivational and collaborative communication skills.Communication skills: Strong communication skills (speaking and writing).Language skills: Proficient in Dutch and English.We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
