1. The candidate has a PhD, preferably a PhD in Law in the broader field of public law or closely related fields.
2. The candidate has demonstrable experience with project applications and/or funding applications.
3. The candidate has at least a Master's degree in Law (or equivalent).
4. The candidate has a very good academic profile and a strong interest in Belgian public law.
5. The candidate is fluent in multiple languages. A good knowledge of Dutch, French and English is a must.
6. The candidate has an interest in education and good didactic skills.
7. The candidate likes to work in a vibrant team of dynamic and driven researchers.
8. As a research coordinator, your main task is to issue project applications for internal and external research funding, in close collaboration with the senior academic staff of the RU Public Law.
9. In addition, you are also willing to provide teaching assistance within the research unit according to the needs throughout the academic year.
You will be employed within the Research Unit (RU) Public Law, a dynamic team of passionate researchers in environmental law, education law, administrative law, constitutional law, judicial law, human rights, philosophy of law and legal empiricism.We offer you a full-time appointment for 1 year, salary scale 44. By mutual agreement, this function can also be taken up for less than 100%.
