EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
· 5+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in NATO Environments
· 3+ years recent experience in BMC CMDB and Discovery implementation
· Deep Understanding of infrastructure solutions hosting Service Management tools and technology, including understanding of market leading database solutions (including but not limited to MS SQL and Oracle), hypervisor solutions, storage solutions, backup systems and load balancing solutions
· Knowledge and experience in Datacenter infrastructure and systems such as:
ü VMware technologies
ü Network infrastructure
ü Platforms technologies such as SharePoint, Webhosting, Databases and Cloud
ü Datacenter designs
ü Datacenter Environmental Management architectures
· Proven experience and excellent technical knowledge of BMC products with particular focus on CMDB, Reporting and Discovery tools domain
· Extensive experience in design and architect Configuration Management systems based on BMC CMDB, BMC Discovery and BMC Truesight in both single and multi-tenancy, and in a highly available and resilient designs
· Extensive experience in PatchManager DCIM toolset
· Experience in Schneider Eletric EcoStruxure IT Data Center Expert (DCE) toolset
· Extensive experience configuring and customising the CMDB, Discovery, DCIM and DCE tools to align to NCIA organisation's business processes
· Extensive Experience in designing and implement ITIL processes (at a minimum):

· Strong experience in defining configuration datamodels and Service Modeling in the context of NATO infrastructure and Platforms

DUTIES/ROLE:
· Team leader and technical lead of the NISC Configuration Management
· Design & Implement a CMS architecture based on agreed technical and business requirements, that includes CMDB toolset, Discovery systems, Automation, reporting and dashboard capabilities
· Support the decision making of the products and tools to support the architectures developed
· Support the definition of the multiple technologies integration with the CMDB and Discovery systems and follow up with industry best practices
· Collaborate with the NCIA and NISC customers and teams to design a long-term implementation roadmap and develop future Configuration Management capabilities
· Design & Implement DCIM solution and coordinate with the support and project teams for implementation
· Design and Architecture of environmental Monitoring architecture for datacenters and coordinate with the support and project teams for implementation
· Resolve any cross-functional (departmental or geographical) issues
· Coordinate with the other teams to ensure the correct functioning of the applications from infrastructure, network and platform point of view (Hosting, Network, Database, IT Security, Applications, etc)
· Reporting on the effectiveness of Configuration Management to senior management and NISC leadership
· Work with the relevant NCIA parties to ensure the Configuration Management processes and IT Service Management systems are configured and aligned to the agreed ITIL based processes
· Work with the relevant parties to facilitate the IT Service Management application(s) and system(s) security accreditation
· Provide support to the Technical Lead in ensuring technical coherence across multiple Infrastructure and Platform systems with the CMDB and Discovery tools
· Develop & build Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions required to support NISC Configuration management activities Develop & Build Configuration management design documentation of the CMDB system(s) and provide support in the development of Testing and Training documentation
· Engages with strategic projects to ensure NISC Configuration Management requirements are met and required CMS functionality is implemented within project timeframes
· Provide support in both the preparation and during the Transition to Operations of new Configuration management systems, including handover activities to the support teams
· Develop & Build all standard operating procedures and instructions required to support NISC Configuration management activities
