AbbVie is seeking a Product Specialist for the Rheumatology department, reporting directly to the Sales Manager. This role focuses on promoting a specific product line and enhancing its presence among specialists in both hospital settings and private practices. The objective is to achieve market share and volume growth, as outlined by management. Key responsibilities include building strong relationships with specialists and key decision-makers to bolster AbbVie's reputation and facilitate business development.

Tasks and responsibilities
* Engages with targeted therapeutic specialists and experts in his territory to support and accelerate product penetration, aligning with marketing and sales strategies as defined by product and sales management.
* Organizes hospital staff meetings, workshops, and regional events to increase visibility and enhance product knowledge, acceptance, and business expansion.
* Analyzes the territory's potential and proposes action plans (priorities and targeting) to ensure a high return on investment with a focus on profitability. Identifies growth opportunities, presents them to sales management, and implements sales strategies to support the development of his product and business.
* Monitors the hospital formulary situation and follows up with specific actions aligned with marketing strategies and tactics.
* Defines opportunities and develops customer-specific approaches and services, including promotion activities, customer support, use of promotional materials, and participation in congresses and symposia, in line with marketing strategies.
* Analyzes results and performances with tools provided by product management, identifies at-risk business, and develops corrective actions where necessary.
* Gathers information on competitors' sales tactics and competitive advantages, stays updated on customer expectations, and remains informed about specific local situations and issues.
* Represents AbbVie at congresses and symposia, builds trustworthy relationships with Rheumatologists, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and upholds a strong and integrous company image.
* Supports public relations activities among general practitioners by providing strong speakers and advocates for AbbVie products if appropriate.
* Collects relevant market information about customers, competitors, and market changes, and communicates these insights through Market Intelligence forms.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
* University or Bachelor's degree with a scientific orientation or background.
* A minimum of 5 years of proven performance through strong results records and a drive for outstanding performance.
