To maintain and strengthen our commitment to integrity and regulatory standards, Nobi is seeking a Head of Product Compliance to lead our compliance efforts across the organization. Reporting to the CTO, the Head of Product Compliance will design, implement, and oversee compliance frameworks that align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. This role will be central in supporting Nobi’s growth, ensuring our processes meet the highest ethical and operational standards. Ideally this role is based at our HQ in Antwerp.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program, including policies, procedures, and best practices across all departments.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements, including SOC 2, HIPAA, NIS2, ISO 27001, and future possibilities like ISO 13485.
* Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability, developing corrective action plans to resolve any issues.
* Oversee internal and external audits to validate adherence to regulatory requirements, coordinating with third-party auditors as necessary.
* Provide expert guidance and training to employees on compliance matters, fostering a culture of ethical conduct and regulatory awareness.
* Develop and implement processes for reporting and investigating potential compliance issues, ensuring swift and appropriate resolution.
* Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry standards, adapting policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
* Prepare and present regular compliance reports to executive management, highlighting key metrics, risks, and improvement plans.
* Work closely with the development team to inventory existing systems and processes, proposing adjustments to meet compliance requirements.
* Ensure that technical solutions align with regulatory standards and that all compliance obligations are implemented in a timely manner.
* Support the continuous improvement of our compliance framework, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
You for Nobi
* Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in product compliance, risk management, or a related role, ideally within tech or healthcare industries.
* Strong knowledge of SOC 2, HIPAA, NIS2, and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks, with a proven track record in implementing and overseeing these programs in tech or healthcare settings. Familiarity with ISO 13485 is a plus.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing risks.
* Strong communication and leadership skills, able to educate and engage cross-functional teams in compliance matters.
* Experience with compliance tools, reporting software, and risk management systems.
Nice to have
* Advanced degree or certification in Compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)).
* Experience with GDPR and data protection regulations, particularly as they apply to tech and healthcare.
* Experience with compliance requirements for IoT and hardware devices, including CE, FCC, and UL certifications.
