To accommodate our growth, we are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Master Data Specialist in Nipro Medical Europe (NME).
About the Role
Under guidance of Operations Planning Manager, you will create, maintain and control Master Data that is fundamental to our operational business processes. In this role you will be responsible for the quality and the accuracy of master data related to NME business partners (customer & supplier data) as well as to product data. You will interact with internal users in order to resolve issues identified during this process and will work together with the global Master Data Owner.
What You'll Do
1. Act as the primary point of contact for questions related to business partner master data and product master data
2. Validate the completeness of incoming requests by verifying if needed documentation is supplied and complies with the business standards in order to ensure a high quality of master data
3. Create/Maintain master data requests in a timely and accurate manner in SAP
4. Share suggestions for process improvement and enhancements
5. Identify data cleansing opportunities (clean ups, obsolete data)
6. Take initiative to correct data quality problems & identify the root cause of the problem
7. Run data reports for internal users upon their request
8. Verify if customer contracts (price, incoterms, payment terms,…) are matching with master data
9. In cooperation with the Operations Planning Manager & Operations Director assist in the development of forms & procedures related to master data
10. Be an active member of assigned projects that involve Master Data changes.
11. The employee performs all tasks in accordance with ISO quality and JSOX requirements, whilst always taking Nipro values into account
What You'll Need
12. Bachelor's degree (e.g. computer science, information management, or related economic field) or 3+ years relevant work experience)
13. Excellent understanding of data structures, data quality and data management principles
14. Proficiency in data management tools and technologies (familiarity with SAP is a plus)
15. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
16. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
17. Excellent command in English is required, additional languages are a plus
