Our EU Advisory business is active across a wide range of Directorate Generals, with core business areas in internal market and consumer policy, social policy, space and telecommunications, digital and transport, and growing practices focused on green deal topics, trade, and financial services.
We aim to progress the “European project” by helping our clients to:
* Design public policy responses;
* Understand how the EU can improve the lives of Europeans, support our businesses, and transform our economy and society;
* Communicate decisions and actions to key stakeholders.
Our digital and space team is recognized in the market and offers services including evaluations, impact assessments, economic and policy analysis, and market assessments to clients such as DG CNCT, DEFIS, MOVE, and key EU agencies. We are looking to strengthen our team with a Manager focusing on qualitative and quantitative policy research and analysis, with expertise in downstream space.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the management and delivery of projects, leading day-to-day activities and teams.
* Develop and implement methodologies and deliver evidence-based outputs on time and to the satisfaction of public policy clients.
* Identify opportunities and contribute to the development of winning proposals.
* Bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team.
* Encourage collaboration and mutual learning among team members.
* Contribute to the internal training program and help develop junior team members.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of the team strategy.
Your Profile
The candidate must have a strong background and experience in the following (must requirements):
* Policy consultancy, preferably in digital policy, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
* Good knowledge of the EU Better Regulation Guidelines for evaluations and impact assessments and their application in actual projects.
* Experience in implementing and ideally supporting the design of evaluations and impact assessments for European clients, ideally including the European Commission.
* Management of project tasks and coaching junior staff.
* Ability to support the coordination of project teams, including partners, experts, and internal teams.
* Coordination of desk research campaigns and stakeholder consultations.
* Ability to autonomously coordinate data analysis activities.
* Problem-solving and proactive attitude.
