Freelance Azure Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Architect to lead our cloud architecture strategy and implementation on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing complex Azure environments. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and design scalable, robust, and secure Azure based solutions tailored to meet specific business needs.
* Lead the implementation of cloud solutions, ensuring best practices in cloud security, governance, and compliance.
* Provide technical leadership to a team of cloud engineers and developers. Mentor and guide junior team members.
* Oversee cloud projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
* Continuously improve and optimize the performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of cloud solutions.
* Work closely with stakeholders, including IT teams, developers, and business leaders, to ensure cloud strategies align with business goals.
* Resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.
* Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends. Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve business processes.
Profile:
* Proficiency in Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and databases.
* Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
* Knowledge of networking principles and VPNs in an Azure environment.
* Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
