Our client is the leading provider of temperature-controlled storage services in Europe, with a storage capacity of over 700,000 pallet spaces for both automated and traditional storage.
To reinforce their financial and business team, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business partnering: Support local teams (BE/FR/NL) with analytical insights, fostering a financial partnering culture. Act as a co-pilot with managers to drive daily performance and anticipate decision-making needs.
* Local financial control: Ensure accurate financial reporting, monitor budgets and forecasts, and provide precise insights for proactive decision-making.
* Budgeting, forecasting & long-term planning: Collaborate with site and country managers for full alignment of commercial and operational information, delivering in-depth analysis to support strategic investments.
* Finance transformation: Contribute to transformational projects, including ERP systems and analytical tools, to modernize and streamline financial reporting and processes.
* Ensuring effective financial management: As the guardian of local financial practices, ensure that each site upholds high standards in financial control.
* Driving continuous improvement: Through your analysis and critical thinking, help evolve our methods, supporting more strategic and informed decision-making.
* Fostering a performance culture: By working closely with local teams, promote a deeper understanding of financial priorities, enabling the company to move forward with confidence.
Qualifications:
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management Sciences, or related field.
* A previous experience (around 8 years) as a Financial Business Partner in an industrial or supply chain sector. Knowledge of the food industry is a plus.
* A strong analytical mindset and autonomy.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence positive behaviours within teams.
* Curiosity about business operations, and the ability to prioritize and manage varied projects.
* Fluent working knowledge of English and Dutch (good knowledge of French is a plus).
