For an international company, active in the food industry & located in Zaventem, we are looking for an extra employee in the accounts payable team. Your tasks as Accounts Payable employee:
You will be part of the accounting team, existing of 3 other colleagues, and daily you'll report to the Teamlead Accounting.
* You encode the invoices of the suppliers which comes in via different channels and make sure they are handled correctly and booked on the right entity
* Daily you will do the preparation of the payments and make sure the banks are booked
* You will detect differences between orders and invoices leading to creating credit notes
* You are the person of contact for the suppliers
o When they have questions regarding their invoices
o To ask for the right PO-number per order
* You make sure that the data of each supplier is correctly adjusted in the system
* You support the more senior accountant with the VAT declaration and other month end closing activities
* If needed, you will handle ad hoc project for the AP-team
The ideal profile as an Accounts Payable employee:
* By preference you have a background in accounting, but a first experience in a similar position is an absolute must
* You are part of an international environment making English the main languages. You can also understand/speak Dutch and/or French
* You are assertive, have a positive mentality and thrive from working within a team
* If you have affinity with the food sector or an experience in an international company, this will be an asset
* You are focused on a smooth management of Accounts Payable but are also open to learn more about general accounting

* After a period of 6 months via a temporary contract, you will receive a fixed contract at a very stable employer
* You receive a salary between €3.000 and €3.500 gross including
+ Lunch vouchers of €8
+ Net allowance between €30-160 (depending on your experience)
