Aimbridge Hospitality are looking to recruit a Meeting Hub General Manager for a new to market, completely unique opportunity.
Opening in June 2026, The Meeting Hub and Events Space Ghent will offer a unique bespoke F&B unit with concept in developments and brand-new extensive meeting facilities, all based in the vibrant and historic city of Ghent.
We’re now looking to recruit an experienced operator who can take the helm as General Manager across these two sperate business units within close proximity of each other and manage all strategic operations.
Managed by Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA, these business units form part of an expansive new group of properties consisting of four hotels, nearly 600 rooms, Multiple dining venues, a destination restaurant, and this non-branded meeting centre all of which will drive business to this dedicated separately managed spaces.

A day in the life of…
As the Meeting Hub General Manager, you can demonstrate a deep understanding of the dynamics of the meetings and events industry within a hospitality environment.
Your role will involve steering both the F&B concept and the meeting hub, delivering strategic direction from pre-opening through to daily operations, all while navigating a highly competitive market.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the end-to-end guest experience for meeting and event clients, ensuring service excellence and seamless coordination across departments
2. Developing and leading a team to deliver high performance and outstanding results in guest satisfaction, profit margins, and operational efficiency
3. Implementing innovative strategies to drive event bookings and maximize the use of the meeting facilities, positioning the venue as a go-to destination for corporate and social events,
What do we need from you?
It is essential that you have extensive experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry, specifically managing high-volume meeting and event spaces alongside F&B operations.
Your background in delivering exceptional service standards, particularly in overseeing large-scale events, will be critical to your success in this role.
In addition, you will need:
4. A strategic mindset with the ability to drive vision and purpose
5. Strong experience working with multiple stakeholders, including owners and franchised partners
6. Proven leadership skills, with a focus on team engagement and talent development at all levels
