As a Tender Desk Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing sales processes, enhancing team performance, and maximizing business opportunities. This leadership position involves managing the Sales Support and Bid Coordination team, working closely with the Sales Director and sales colleagues to shape strategic account planning and growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Process Management & Optimization: Lead and manage the sales processes across various teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in meeting sales targets. Implement best practices to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
* Monetization of Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to monetize our products and services, actively working to convert prospects into long-term clients.
* Leadership & Team Management: Oversee and mentor the Bid Management and Sales Support teams. Provide guidance, training, and ensure team members are aligned with company objectives and deadlines. Drive performance by setting clear expectations and monitoring progress.
* Strategic Account Planning & Growth Initiatives: Collaborate with the sales team and Sales Director to define and execute strategic account plans. Lead growth initiatives, ensuring sales strategies are aligned with overall business goals.
* CRM System Optimization: Optimize the utilization of our Microsoft Dynamics CRM system to support sales activities. Ensure data integrity, smooth processes, and relevant reports to enhance sales performance.
* Data-Driven Market Insights: Implement a data-driven approach to understand market trends, analyze competition, and generate insights that will inform sales strategies and decision-making. Utilize Power BI and Excel for detailed reporting and performance tracking.
* Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly track sales performance through key metrics and ensure objectives and deadlines are met by the Bid Team. Generate sales reports to inform strategic decision-making.
* Market Knowledge & Competitor Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and market dynamics. Utilize this market knowledge to drive better sales outcomes and refine business development strategies.
* Client & Partner Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders. Enhance customer satisfaction and drive long-term partnerships.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment of strategies and deliver a seamless experience for clients.
Required Competencies & Qualifications:
* Experience: Proven experience in sales operations or a similar role, with a strong track record of performance.
* Sales & Market Knowledge: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. In-depth understanding of market trends and competitor dynamics.
* CRM & Reporting: Expertise in CRM systems (especially Microsoft Dynamics), and proficiency in generating sales reports and using tools like Excel and Power BI for analysis.
* Team Leadership & Collaboration: Experience managing teams, driving performance, and collaborating across departments to achieve objectives.
* Multilingual: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, with the ability to engage effectively with international clients and teams.
* Communication & Networking: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences and foster strong client and stakeholder connections.
