What will you be doing?
For our Client (P&G B.I.C.) in Strombeek-Bever, we're looking for a Lab Assistant.
In this position, your main tasks would be to execute tests by following standard methods and operating procedures.
More specifically, this means:
You will perform procedural work in a lab, pilot plant, with consumers, and/or on a computer. Your role is to prepare test/products, perform routine assigned tests, and/or generate data in a reliable quality manner.
In addition, you will manage relevant administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Learn new test methods and prepare and perform them with excellence, in a dependable/quality manner.
- Have knowledge of data retrieval/analysis processes; working knowledge of computer application/software packages.
- Check accuracy of data; detect any irregularities and report these to the supervisor/technical coach.
- Have working knowledge of own area of business; provide basic support for technologies/test methods in a specific area.
- Perform routine work in R&D labs, laundries, pilot plant, consumer research operations, etc.

Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a science background, preferably in chemistry, obtained through studies (max. bachelor degree) or experience (max. 5 years overall experience) in the field. You should also have a good level of English, be a quick learner, and have good organizational skills. Additionally, you should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), an eye for detail, good observation skills, and be compliant with corporate programs. Experience working with databases and ability to work independently and as part of a team are also required.
In addition, you should have knowledge of and apply specific protection measures linked to handling chemicals. Specific training and qualification performed by R&D are necessary.
