The Opportunity
In response to strong market demand, EY has ambitious plans to expand our already market-leading Cybersecurity practice. We are looking for highly skilled and experienced individuals in the security awareness and training domain. As a security awareness consultant, you will be responsible for conceiving, developing and implementing security awareness roadmaps, campaigns or initiatives aimed at reinforcing the human firewall of our clients, based on the latest cybersecurity best practices and promoting a strong organizational cyber culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop and implement security awareness roadmaps tailored to the organization’s unique environment with engaging and informative initiatives.
2. Create engaging content to ensure that the message is heard and applied in diverse forms (e.g. articles, posters, videos, etc.).
3. Conduct security awareness maturity assessments to evaluate current awareness levels and identify vulnerabilities.
4. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of the security awareness initiatives through engagement and behavioral metrics.
5. Organize security events.
6. Convey technical security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Stay current with the latest technological developments and human threats.
Skills And Attributes For Success
1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related major.
2. A minimum of 2 years of related work experience in security awareness or cyber training.
3. Preferred: certifications such as CISSP, COMPTIA+, CISM, CRISC.
4. A passion for educating and empowering employees against digital threats.
5. Strong understanding of cyber security basics, social engineering techniques, and phishing attacks.
6. Ability to communicate complex concepts simply and link cyber security to corporate strategy.
7. Creativity and capacity for delivering messages in engaging ways.
8. Ability to stay up to date with evolving cyber threats and developments in cyber security.
9. A talent for behavioral change.
10. High achiever, team player, quality-oriented, enthusiastic.
