ORGANIZATION AND PLACE OF DUTY:
US Army in Belgium is an American government agency whose mission is to provide logistical and administrative support to the US personnel at NATO and SHAPE in Belgium.
Hauptaufgaben
As Information Referral & Follow-up Program Manager, you will:
-Implement, manage and administer all U.S. Army programs that enable SHAPE community members to find activities, serviceproviders, etc...
-Find, identify and develop customer needs.
-Find the best appropriate services to meet the needs and interests of the various communities and their families.
-Assist military and civilian families, directing them to different services and explaining the procedures for using these services.
Qualifikationsanforderungen
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Education level 3 (Bachelor) is fully qualifying at the BA-07 grade level. Applicants must have successfully completed the education in behavioral or social science or related appropriate disciplines. The following are examples of qualifying diplomas: "Bachelier assistant en psychologie – option en psychologie du travail et orientation professionnelle," "Bachelier assistant social," "Bachelier conseiller social," "Bachelier en gestion des ressources humaines," and "Bachelier en sciences humaines et sociales."
N ADDITION TO THE MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT LISTED ABOVE, AT THE BA 09:
Applicant must demonstrate at least one year of job-related experience to the area of specialization of the position. To be creditable, experience must have been gained at a level that is equivalent to at least the second lower grade (BA-07). The following must be demonstrated:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
-Ability to conduct evaluations of individuals in need of social services assistance, to include financial issues, medical problems, marital difficulties, educational or behavioral problems, job functioning, etc;
-Ability to identify social and psychological factors
-Knowledge to provide client referral and advocacy services
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION:
Education level 4 is fully qualifying at the BA-09 grade level. Applicants must have completed the education in behavioral or social science or related disciplines. The following are examples of qualifying diplomas: "Master en gestion des ressources humaines," "Master en politique économique et sociale," "Master en sciences de la population et du développement," "Master en sciences du travail," "Master en sciences humaines et sociales," "Master en sociologie," "Master en sociologie et anthropologie," "Master en sciences de la famille et de la sexualité," and "Master en sciences psychologiques."

DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFER:
- Permanent, full-time (38 hours/week)
- Regular work schedule (Monday through Friday)
SALARY: From 4,827.09 EUR gross/month

REFERRAL AND SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The Civilian Human Resources Service Center (CHRSC) will review each application and will refer candidates to the management official who will make the final selection. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for position without regard to political, religious, or labor organization affiliation or non-affiliation, marital status, race, color, sex, national origin, nondisqualifying physical disability, or age.
The SELECTEE will:
•Provide an extract of criminal record: "Modele 1". This document may be requested to the local resident registration office.
•Be subject to a Foreign National Screening administrated by the SHAPE Belgian Police.
•Pass an English test and a medical evaluation.
