Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer (Endpoint)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer specializing in endpoint protection to provide comprehensive support and consultancy services across a multinational defense environment. The role focuses on implementing, managing, and optimizing enterprise-level endpoint security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support on endpoint protection solutions including anti-malware, removable device control, data loss prevention, disk wiping, and hard-drive encryption.
* Manage the full software lifecycle for enterprise endpoint protection tools: release, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
* Develop and test configuration settings; create installation and configuration guidelines.
* Draft technical documentation, including user guides and installation manuals.
* Monitor threat landscapes, especially malware trends, and assess new endpoint protection technologies.
* Perform configuration checks to ensure enforcement of endpoint security policies and directives.
* Advise and assist IT Security Officers and System Administrators on endpoint protection best practices.
* Support security incident handling and analysis.
* Review and maintain documentation and configuration settings to support enterprise security operations.
* Provide cyber security consultancy and technical guidance for ongoing and future projects.
* Coordinate with system and network administrators to meet security architecture requirements.
* Contribute to the team’s daily objectives and collaborative tasks.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Trellix (formerly McAfee) ePO and ENS security controls.
* Strong experience in operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Trellix solutions.
* Skilled in managing product lifecycle activities for Trellix tools: version control, configuration updates, documentation, change coordination, and process ownership.
* Familiarity with writing and editing expert rules in Trellix ENS.
* Solid experience in Windows systems administration and infrastructure troubleshooting.
* Capability to troubleshoot and support Trellix tools across an enterprise environment.
* Proficient in creating technical documentation for security tools and configurations.
* Experience liaising with vendors and providing tier-3 support.
* Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, networking, and operating system vulnerabilities.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and follow established internal processes and chain of command.
Desirable Skills:
* Prior experience with one or more Trellix tools: Drive Encryption, File and Removable Media Protection (FRP), Data Loss Prevention, or Application and Change Control.
* Understanding of operational constraints and cybersecurity considerations in military or NATO environments.
* Familiarity with Linux systems troubleshooting.
* Experience working on implementation projects in defense or military organizations.
Security Clearance: NATO Secret Clearance required.
