We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior IT Service Management Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring that our IT environment is fully aligned with real-world configurations. You`ll collaborate closely with our IT Services Team and related departments to support configuration, asset, and user access management processes.
1. Maintain and update the CMDB to reflect current asset and configuration data.
For each, you will ensure that the information is accurate, complete, and aligned with the real-world IT infrastructure.
2. Validate and improve CMDB data quality in coordination with other IT teams.
For each, you will proactively identify inconsistencies and drive improvements to maintain a reliable source of truth.
3. Support configuration and asset management through accurate record-keeping and reporting.
For each, you will generate insightful reports and collaborate with colleagues to enhance data quality and usability.
4. Process and update tasks linked to Service Request Forms (SRFs) and Requests for Change (RFCs).
For each, you will follow structured procedures to ensure CMDB updates are timely and accurate.
5. Track and follow up on asset deliveries to ensure consistency with orders.
For each, you will monitor the asset lifecycle and ensure all records are up to date and complete.
6. Assist in managing user access by maintaining the account repository.
For each, you will process access requests and updates according to predefined protocols.
You have the following skills
7. Passion for IT Service Management and a meticulous approach to data accuracy.
8. Knowledge of ITSM frameworks like ITIL or COBIT (preferred).
9. Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW), particularly in data handling and reporting.
10. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Word and Excel.
11. A flexible thinker with a structured, process-focused, and customer-oriented mindset.
12. Willingness to learn and grow in the ITSM field with provided training.
13. Native Dutch speaker with excellent English proficiency.
Work Environment:
Join a supportive team of six professionals.
Role starts % onsite with the option for up to 40% remote work after training.
