Hauptaufgaben
As a Store Associate, you will perform the following duties:
- Maintain well-stocked departments, prepare items for display and ensure freshness.
- Assist in price changes, price verifications, and shelf label replacement maintenance to ensure that prices are properly displayed and correct.
- Package and price produce items.
- Respond to a wide variety of customer inquiries.
- Perform cashier duties.
- Monitor Self-Checkout operations by providing support to the customer in making corrections as needed and observing overall operations during the transactions.
- Prepare cash register trays and issue them with keys to cashiers.
- Prepare orders for the customers.
- Upon arrival of the customer, retrieve the order from the staging area, transport it to the customer's vehicle, and complete the check out process.
- Assist with inventories.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Lift and carry light-to-medium weight stock, materials, and tools.
- Receive and process a variety of accounting documents and forward to HQ for further action.
- Uses cart and manual or electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment in the movement of items to replenish depleted stock with incoming items, and in obtaining stock from the storage area and transporting it to shelving or display areas.
Qualifikationsanforderungen
• PROFILE
- Applicants with a high secondary school degree and above may substitute their education for experience.
- Applicants with an intermediate secondary school diploma must demonstrate 6 months of creditable experience.
- Applicants with no degree must demonstrate 1 year of creditable experience.
Creditable experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
Foreign education must be officially evaluated for Belgian equivalency.

US Army in Belgium is an American government agency whose mission is to provide logistical and administrative support to the US personnel at NATO and SHAPE in Belgium.
• DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFER
- Permanent, part-time (32 hours/week).
- Irregular work schedule (Monday through Sunday), day shift.
- Salary: From 2.520,93 EUR gross/month
The incumbent must be able to lift items up to 25 pounds.
