Job Description
(S)He shall manage Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation aspects of projects in tender and execution, including basic and detailed engineering, purchasing, supervision of installation and commissioning.
The responsibility will also involve research of best solution, selection and follow-up of suppliers, subcontractor in coordination with the other scope for miscellaneous type and size of projects in Benelux mainly and eventually broader Europe & International.
Details:
The EIA Engineer will be responsible for the electrical, instrumentation and automation basic design and selection for projects in tender and execution.
In proposal stage (s)he will:
* Assist the proposal manager in establishing the best suited technical and price quotation, taken into account the specifications of the consultant and/or the client;
* Assist the proposal manager in the technical negotiations with the consultant and/or client and with the potential electrical and automation subcontractors
* Lead technical and commercial negotiation with electrical, instrumentation, automation subcontractors/suppliers.
In execution stage (s)he will:
* Assist the project manager in defining the best (quality, commercial and technical) electrical, instrumentation and automation solution for the project, taken into account the specifications of the consultant and/or the client;
* Assist the project manager or lead technical and commercial negotiation with the consultant and/or client, the electrical, instrumentation and automation subcontractors/suppliers;
* Execute and follow the basic and detailed engineering with electrical, instrumentation, automation subcontractors/suppliers;
* Assist the site supervisor/project manager of the supply, installation, commissioning and start-up.
(S)he is prepared to work abroad for short periods of time.
Qualifications
* Electrical, Automation & Instrumentation Engineer or equivalent by experience.
* Similar experience in an industrial environment for minimum 5 years; overall experience of minimum 8 years in the sector.
* Languages: Fluent French, Dutch and English (level C1 or above).
* Knowledge/experience in water treatment, potable water, pumping station and biogas is a plus.
* Past experience in International market is a plus.
* Candidate shall be able to work by himself and work in relation with other members of the team. He shall be flexible and able to undertake several tasks or projects at a time.
