Job Description:
This Dutch bank, established in 1980, specializes in ethical banking and sustainable investments. It operates across several European countries, financing projects that benefit both people and the environment.
Role Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement group-wide procedures for KYC & Financial Crime specialists.
* Refine KYC & FC procedures to ensure compliance with Belgian regulations.
* Implement and enhance procedures, provide expert advice, answer queries, and resolve issues.
* Balance local compliance with group priorities.
* Foster collaboration within the organization to support KYC & FC in Belgium.
* Act as a bridge between operational teams, compliance, ORM, legal, IT, and other stakeholders.
* Maintain a risk-based mindset and assess operational impacts of regulatory changes.
* Work closely with other KYC & FC specialists and the local Business Change Owner (BCO).
Key Requirements:
* Possess a flexible mindset, the ability to prioritize various tasks, and effectively communicate these priorities to stakeholders.
* Have in-depth knowledge and experience of the local and European regulatory environment.
* Preferably hold a bachelor's or master's degree, or be able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
* Have obtained certifications demonstrating your in-depth knowledge in the field of KYC & FC (e.g., ACAMS / ICA) or be willing to obtain them.
* Be able to demonstrate experience in developing and implementing KYC & FC procedures and applying local requirements.
* Promote broad collaboration through excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Be proficient in English and French, and preferably Dutch.
* Be able to demonstrate your affinity with the mission and values of the bank
