At Microsoft''s European Government Affairs (EGA) team, you''ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless financial planning, compliance, and operational efficiency across Brussels and the broader EMEA region. As a Business Program Management Intern, you will support the team''s financial and compliance operations, as well as help drive programs and initiatives for the Brussels and broader EMEA region.You will advocate for and demonstrate the value of the program through clearly defined metrics in order to gain buy in from internal and external stakeholders. You will monitor programs to ensure all activities align with program objectives and ensure program processes are executed efficiently including change management and/or program improvement efforts. Assist in developing and implementing budget forecasting, contracting and controlling procedures for the European Government Affairs teams in close collaboration with the Operations Director Manage the day to day budget processes, including Purchase Orders and invoice handling Help ensure compliance across all teams by acting as a Compliance ch who proactively communicates the company''s policies, anticipates and mitigates risks, and participates in the organization of trainings as required Help maintain operational relations with suppliers and partners, such as consultants, law firms, associations and think tanks Continuously help expand and evolve the team''s capabilities to leverage technology for planning and operational processes, e.g. implementing the use of Business & Financial Intelligence reports Support steering additional project work, such as advancing the development and adoption of AI/Copilot opportunities for the organization.
