Mission
As a key member of the Management Committee, your role will be to steer the finances, ensure the smooth running of the property assets and the efficiency of technological operations, and actively contribute to the organisation's strategic vision. You will be a key player in ensuring the long-term future and development of the Music Chapel’s activities.
Responsibilities
Embodying the values and mission of the Music Chapel, your main responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing accounts and budgets with the utmost precision, ensuring impeccable accounting management and providing strategic financial analysis.
2. Drawing up and monitoring accurate budgets, identifying remedial action where necessary.
3. Developing reliable reporting tools to facilitate strategic decisions.
4. Optimising cash flow and identifying opportunities for ambitious financial partnerships.
Facility Management
1. Ensuring the maintenance and optimal operation of the estate.
2. Supervising renovation, maintenance or expansion projects, in collaboration with technical partners.
3. Ensuring that the infrastructure complies with environmental and safety standards.
4. Effectively managing building-related contracts (suppliers, energy, etc.), while optimising costs.
5. Making strategic decisions aimed at reducing the organisation's ecological footprint while respecting planetary limits, by integrating sustainable and responsible practices into facilities management.
IT management
1. Defining and implementing an IT strategy and policy aligned with the organisation's objectives.
2. Overseeing the technological ecosystem to guarantee innovation, security and performance.
3. Implementing digital tools to improve processes and increase efficiency.
Leadership and collaboration
1. Managing a multi-disciplinary team in a caring and demanding way, developing their skills and optimising their performance.
2. Ensuring regular and transparent reporting to the Executive Committee.
3. Maintaining constructive relations and smooth communication with internal and external partners.
4. Representing the Music Chapel to institutional, cultural and private partners, strengthening its image and relations.
Required profile
Qualifications :
1. You have a university degree, ideally in management, finance or equivalent.
2. You have solid experience in the cultural sector, with expertise in strategic and operational management.
Skills:
1. Financial expertise : you excel in financial management, cost accounting and budget steering, and you are capable of developing effective reporting tools.
2. Operational versatility : you are comfortable with property and IT asset management, or have a keen interest in these areas.
3. Inspirational leadership : as a caring manager, you know how to mobilise your teams, make the most of their skills and establish a culture of collaboration and performance. You are recognised for your interpersonal, communication and active listening skills.
4. Solutions-oriented : proactive and pragmatic, your entrepreneurial spirit enables you to quickly identify effective solutions and adapt your strategy to complex and constantly changing environments. You are able to see the positive in every situation.
5. Thoroughness and creativity : with an acute sense of organisation and attention to detail, you combine strategic vision with a concern for practical implementation, while remaining self-critical.
6. Innovation : curious and passionate, you will seek continuous improvement and keep up to date with developments in the cultural sector, while exploring innovative ways of optimising internal and operational processes.
7. Languages : you have a perfect command of written and spoken French, Dutch and English.
