Task Responsibilities
Management of the Belgian branch of Cargolux Airlines
* Controlling all issues (Administration, Sales, Cargo and Flight Operations)
* Ensuring all Cargolux policy and procedures are followed
* Representing Cargolux with the local cargo association and our vendors
* Reporting market intelligence on competition, rates and interline
* Maintaining close contact with customers and resolving customer complaints
* Promoting Cargolux' presence in the local community
* Market development
* Contributing to team effort
* Coordinating with handling agents to ensure high quality customer service
* Securing CV's financial interest with forwarders, handling agents and Government entities
* Monitoring handling agents' performance and recommending changes if necessary
* Further promote CV products Pharma/AVI/Jumbo with our agents in Belgium
Essential Requirements For The Position
* At least 10-15 years of experience in a sales position or similar position
* Minimum 10 years of experience within the air cargo industry with a major airline or forwarder
* Minimum 5 years of experience at a senior management level
* Have excellent know-how and experience in the air cargo industry
* Have highly developed skills in interacting with people of various cultural backgrounds, in integrating and building groups
* Ability to manage and lead a team in a multicultural environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and change within a fast paced environment
* Be able to deal with tight deadlines
* Be assertive and able to work independently
* Be fluent in French, English and Dutch (oral/written)
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Working Conditions
* A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
* Occasional travel required within the entire Cargolux network
* Position based in Brussels
